Andi Miranti is a young-at-heart Malaysian author who also likes to draw, read, listen to music and play on the computer.
Besides having been diagnosed with autism at the age of two, Andi also has some degree of low muscle tone. Therefore, before the age of 8, he was never really keen to hold a pencil. From age 8, his interest and ability grew, and so did the number of comics that he drew and the stories that he wrote. At 15, he started self-publishing his books about the misadventures of Ned Dickens, a character he created.
Till this day, as an adult, he prefers to handwrite his books, rather than to type them. This takes some effort, but he enjoys it as it is a labour of love.
